Privacy policy

As part of their studies at IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH, students are required to produce an academic thesis, for which they are to conduct a survey.

This questionnaire asks for your age, gender, details of your professional or social background, as well as your personal habits and opinions. You will not be asked for your name, nor will it be recorded on the questionnaire. The data collection is to be carried out anonymously.

To ensure anonymity, please do not provide any information that could identify you personally. Please provide only the information requested.

Once you have completed the questionnaire, the data will be analysed anonymously by Louise Franke with a view to publishing the results as part of an academic thesis (Bachelor’s thesis) entitled ‘Destination marketing beyond tourist hotspots: potential factors contributing to the appeal of selected Berlin neighbourhoods for leisure travellers from the United Kingdom’. The original questionnaire will remain with the student. Only the results will be published; the questionnaires themselves will not be published.

IU will not receive any personal data relating to you.

The student may have access to your name and contact details. You are therefore asked to provide the declaration of consent for the processing of your personal data, as set out in the appendix. Please note that the IU has no influence over the processing of your personal data, as the student is responsible for this.
